Other symptoms that are unrelated to bleeding may be present. They are as follows:

  • Tender breasts due to bloating
  • Pain or pressure in the lower abdomen
  • Weakness due to dizziness or fainting
  • Low Blood Pressure
  • Increased heart rate
  • Pain
  • Skin tone is light

The symptoms of abnormal uterine bleeding fluctuate. Some signs that your bleeding is abnormal include:

  • Heavy menstrual flow (formerly called menorrhagia).
  • Bleeding at inconvenient times (between periods, after intercourse).
  • Exceptionally long periods (seven days or longer).
  • Menstrual cycles are inconsistent.
